By here I mean journal. I have been lurking elsewhere.

Err, not much going on. I'm going to scrap that requests idea because frankly, I have no idea what I was thinking of when I started it up. The requests I have left over are lurking somewhere, and will be uploaded soon.

Anyhoo, err, not much to say beyond I'm still alive and at uni. Currently addicted to Touhou 3, PoDD. Though I swear the computer cheats. Yumemi only ever takes damage after I've lost a life. And even then, my chances of beating her depend entirely on my luck. But oh well.

I'm at uni atm, currently doing semester two, which ends with this month, which is when I'll be losing a day to Natioanl Rail. Joy of joys.

Err, I seriously have nothing I can think of to talk about.

Oh yeah. I got used to being 20. As it turns out, it never bothered me, I simply carried on. Easy!

But that happens on Friday regardless. Ahh, don't want to lose the 1 in front of my age. 2 feels really old...

But I am excited, since family is coming on a visit to Wales for my birthday. Can't wait to show people around here. Hopefully, the weather will hold... We seem to be the only part of the UK that didn't get hit by snow, which is good, actually. You see, we're built on a hill that takes 20 minutes to walk all the way up to the top. I live at the bottom of it, near the seafront, and the uni is about 3/4 of the way up it. Try imaging that with snow and ice Dx

But I digress. I shall be busy on Friday with family pretending it isn't my birthday/I'm not an old fogey, they're just visiting because lol why not!

Now, I know I've been slow on them, but I have been working on requests, seriously. And I'd like to keep taking them for February. So, if you have any, please, just say. Ridiculousness doesn't matter, but NSFW is a no go.

Yeah, with my sparkly new laptop, I decided to switch to Chrome from Firefox. It works a lot better on the crappy internet I have at uni (seriously landlord, 24 people and one connection?), and i now also have an app or something for dA's message centre, meaning chrome always displays how many messages I've got, as well as shouting at me when I receive new ones. Expect me to become more active and answer some more messages when I have some time. (I also realise I have several very overdue obligations at Touhou-Club - I WILL get around to these ASAP)

Also, I've come to a bit of an artistic block, and came up with an idea. For 2012, I will do 12 requests per month and post them up here. Well, apart from this month, which is almost over. I'm going to do 3 for this last week of January. I'm happy to do anything so long as it's reasonable and tasteful.

How are we? This is me, signing in on a new, functional laptop. Sorry I disappeared, my old laptop literally had one blue screen every other day, amongst other problems. To be fair, it was 4/5 years old, and has served me well. I will miss it. And my iPod doesn't really like dA. The mobile version of this site is somewhat difficult to navigate.

Anyhoo, I am back. Give me tonight to set this laptop up and stuff, and also to have a look at my message centre (I have a combined total of 4996 things in my message centre atm) and I shall be back and active and do some very over due things. Such as Touhou-Club... Sorry about that.

Yeah, basically, my laptop is dying. It overheats rather regularly (I'm surprised it hasn't caught fire yet this evening), refuses to charge (60% available, plugged in, not charging) and the power light flashes white, then red a couple of times.

Some what concerned, but a new laptop will be difficult, since I was given an iPod Touch and geez I feel really spoilt just typing that. However, the university has deals for laptops for students, so I'm hoping to be able to get something when I return.

So for now, sorry, but I'm going to be pretty limited. dA and iPods don't seem to like each other terribly much, and I'm struggling with the tumblr app. The twitter and FB apps work alright though, so grab me through twitter if you really need me.
